
	News Following a recent publicity effort and an open rehearsal event, the choir welcomed five new members and they are all enjoying taking part in rehearsals and concerts. More new members would be made very welcome at our regular Monday evening rehearsals, 7.15pm, in the Synthonia Club, Belasis Avenue, Billingham. Bookings are now coming in for concerts throughout 2008. The concert held in The Oakwood Centre, Eaglescliffe on Wednesday, March 19th, featuring two junior bands and Billingham Choral Society was a great success. It was a pleasure to see young and old working together and enjoying the experience. It is hoped to repeat this new venture again in the not too distant future. The choir is also booked to sing in The Festival of Brass and Voices in The Royal Albert Hall, London on Saturday October 31st, 2009.
